It is used to fund various costs, including yacht preparation, requested supplies, port fees, mooring charges, legal fees, diesel and fuel, communication costs, crew gratuities, and any additional services based on the guest’s specific requests, such as itinerary, food, beverages, and more.
If the full APA amount is not utilized by the end of the charter, any remaining balance will be refunded to the charterer. Conversely, if expenses exceed the APA, the guest may be asked to cover the additional costs.
