Obligatory payments
Luxury motor yacht Seagull II
A.P.A. (Advance Provisioning Allowance): 30% of the charter fee
The A.P.A. is used to cover various expenses incurred during the charter. These costs include, but are not limited to, fuel for tenders and water sports equipment, additional fuel for cruising (over 4 hours per day), food and beverages for the Charter Party, berthing fees, and harbor charges. This also covers pilot fees, local taxes, divers’ fees, customs formalities, waste disposal, water and electricity taken from shore, and shipping agent fees where applicable. Furthermore, the A.P.A. is used for personal laundry for the Charter Party, as well as any hire or purchase costs for special equipment requested by the Charterer. It also covers shore transportation, excursions, entrance fees to national parks, and other services requested by the Charter Party during the charter.
In addition to the base charter fee, the A.P.A. is paid by the client to cover these relevant costs. If the A.P.A. does not fully cover the expenses, the client will be required to settle the remaining balance in cash on board. On the other hand, if the costs incurred during the charter are less than the A.P.A. amount, the unspent balance will be refunded to the client at the end of the voyage. It is important to note that the A.P.A. does not include gratuities for the crew.
VAT: Please be aware that a 13% VAT will be added to the Charter Rate.
Not included in the price
- TIPS: Tips are not included in the price of the charter and are a voluntary way of showing appreciation for a good service. Usually it is 10% to 15% of the charter price, according to your satisfaction, paid to the captain at the end of the charter and distributed equally by the captain to the rest of the crew.
- Other options on request: Land transfers, fishing licenses, guided tours, excursions, restaurants, bike rentals, car rentals.
- Delivery / Re-Delivery Fee: Dubrovnik – 3,000 € fixed cost (in case of empty leg caused by (dis)embarkation outside home port)
