Obligatory payments
A.P.A. (Advance Provisioning Allowance): 40% of the charter price
To cover the following costs, including but not limited to: fuel for tender and water sports equipment; additional fuel for cruising (above 4 h per day); food and beverages for the Charter Party; berthing dues and other harbor charges, such as pilots’ fees, local taxes, divers’ fees, and customs formalities. Moreover, this includes charges for waste disposal, water and electricity taken from shore, and shipping agents’ fees where applicable. In addition, Charter Party personal laundry is also covered, along with hire or purchase costs of any special equipment placed on board at the Charterer’s request. Furthermore, shoreside transport and excursions, national park entrances, and other services requested by the Charter Party during the charter are included. Essentially, this applies to all other costs not specified as included.
A.P.A. Payment
A.P.A is paid by the Charterer in addition to the charter fee for all relevant costs for the vessel that are not included in the charter fee. If necessary, should the A.P.A. not cover all costs, the Charterer will pay the excess amount on board in cash. Conversely, if the costs incurred are less than the amount given as A.P.A., the unused portion will be returned to the Charterer at the end of the voyage. Finally, please note that A.P.A. does not include a tip for the crew.

- TIPS: Tips are not included in the price of the charter and are a voluntary way of showing appreciation for a good service. Usually it is 10% to 15% of the charter price, according to your satisfaction, paid to the captain at the end of the charter and distributed equally by the captain to the rest of the crew.
