Obligatory payments
A.P.A. (Advance Provisioning Allowance): 30% of the charter price
To cover the following costs, but not limited to: fuel for tender and water sports equipment; additional fuel for cruising (above 4 h per day), food and beverages for the Charter Party; berthing dues and other harbor charges including pilots ’fees, local taxes, divers’ fees, customs formalities, charges for waste disposal, charges for water and electricity taken from shore; shipping agents’ fees where applicable; Charter Party personal laundry; hire or purchase costs of any special equipment placed on board at the Charterer’s request, shoreside transport and excursions, national park entrances and other costs for services requested by Charter Party during the charter and all other costs not specified as included.
APA Payment for luxury mini cruiser Freedom
A.P.A is paid by the Client in addition to the charter fee for all relevant costs for the vessel that are not included in the charter fee. If A.P.A does not cover complete costs, the Client will pay exceeding the amount on board in cash. If costs made on charter are less than the amount is given as A.P.A, the amount that was not spent will be returned to the Client at the end of the voyage. A.P.A. does not include a tip for the crew.

- TIPS: Tips are not included in the price of the charter and are a voluntary way of showing appreciation for a good service. Usually it is 10% to 15% of the charter price, according to your satisfaction, paid to the captain at the end of the charter and distributed equally by the captain to the rest of the crew.

My destinations in 2021 and 2022 were very similar outside of the overnight in Kotor, Montenegro, which was the highlight this year. What is the total investment for a week-long charter on Freedom?
Your total investment includes the base charter fee, 13% VAT, and a 30% APA. Consequently, the estimated weekly rates for the 2026 season are:
- High Season (June 13 – Sept 2): €150,000 + VAT + APA ≈ €214,500/week.
- Shoulder Season (May 12 – June 12 & Sept 3 – Sept 26): €135,000 + VAT + APA ≈ €193,050/week.
- Low Season (April 18 – May 11 & Sept 27 – Nov 5): €120,000 + VAT + APA ≈ €171,600/week.
Initially, a 50% deposit confirms your booking. Finally, the remaining balance and APA are due 6 to 8 weeks before departure.
How does the 30% APA work on Freedom?
The Advance Provisioning Allowance acts as your personal onboard credit line. Specifically, it covers fuel, gourmet food, beverages, and port fees. Throughout the voyage, the Captain maintains a transparent log of all costs. Therefore, you will receive a full report at the end of your trip. Any unspent funds are refunded to you immediately.
Can we customize the itinerary and service for our group?
Absolutely, as Freedom offers a fully bespoke Adriatic experience. To prepare, we send a preference questionnaire eight weeks before boarding. This allows us to tailor dietary needs and special celebrations perfectly. Furthermore, the Captain adapts the daily route based on your wishes and weather. This ensures you discover secluded bays in complete privacy.
What are the onboard policies for connectivity and smoking?
Freedom provides high-speed Wi-Fi to keep you seamlessly connected during your journey. Regarding smoking, it is strictly prohibited in all interior areas for safety. However, guests may smoke in designated outdoor deck spaces. Additionally, please inform us if you need a stable connection for business. We will then optimize the service for your specific route.
